She added: “She was asking us to make arrangements for her and the children to come back here a few months ago.
“But due to the closure earlier this year and also due to our low financial condition, we could not immediately arrange for his return.”
The bodies of the family were found at their home in Ballinteer, Dublin, on Wednesday with signs of strangulation.
Police have told his family in India that “progress” has been made in the investigation.
FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION
Seema’s devastated family in India is seeking financial help from authorities to bring the bodies home after the discovery.
Ms. Banu’s father, Abdul Ghaffar, and her mother, Qurishid-un-nisa, said they were “very, very sad” after receiving shocking news that their daughter and grandchildren were found dead.
Her distraught parents spoke to us through Sufi, from their home in the Mysore district of Karnataka state in southwestern India.
Remembering their beloved daughter, they said: “He was a very kind hearted person.
“When I used to visit India, I spent time with everyone and kept in touch with everyone.
“He was brave, he has faced all the challenges of his life. She was like one of the main decision makers for the family. “
‘SHOCK AND EXTREME PAIN’
They added: “We have lost the three precious gems of our family. We are in shock and extreme pain to lose them. “
The Sufi cousin explained that the family wants to take Seema and her two young children home to India but, due to their financial situation, they cannot afford it.
They have asked the Indian Embassy in Dublin and the Irish Government here for help.
Sufi said: “The parents are very concerned about bringing the bodies here. We want to take them home. But they are not in good financial shape.
“If they want to bring the bodies back, it is very expensive. They can’t afford that.
“We call on the Embassy and the Government to help us with the financing so that they can bring them here. We are worried.
“We are not from a rich family. That is why we are asking the Embassy to facilitate the financing, which will be of great help to us ”.
