Six counties are now under weather warnings and one will go into effect immediately this morning.

A second status yellow wind warning has been issued for Wexford, Cork and Waterford.
The warning doesn’t start until 2 p.m. this afternoon, but it also lasts until 2 a.m. tonight.
It says: “This afternoon, tonight and for a while tonight, the southwest winds will reach average speeds of 50 to 65 km / h with gusts of up to 90 km / h, stronger in the coastal areas.”
The rest of the country is free of warnings but bad conditions are expected.

“Heaviest in Munster with some flooding here. Cool to strong southwest winds in the south, moderate elsewhere. Higher temperatures 10-15 degrees, cooler in the north and milder in the south.
“Tonight there were outbreaks of rain in all areas, which turned into heavy showers overnight. Winds will mostly ease moderate to cool from the southwest, but will remain strong at times on the western and southern coasts. Temperatures lower than 5 to 7 degrees “.
