Another snow and ice advisory has gone into effect for Co Donegal.
The yellow status alert is valid from 6pm on Sunday evening to 10am on Monday morning.
And snow could still fall in other parts of the country as well, but cold conditions are expected to be mostly in Ulster.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “More outbreaks of rain tonight with some sleet or snow falling over Ulster and over high ground in parts of Leinster and Connacht.
“Lower temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees in general. However, considerably milder in the southwest with lows of 6 to 9 degrees in the southeast of mild to moderate or variable breezes with some patches of fog and fog developing as well.
“Monday will generally be dull and wet with more bouts of rain or drizzle and some winter drops over Ulster.
“Heavy rains will spread from the Atlantic to the southwest later in the day. Higher afternoon temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees generally remain cooler in Ulster however with maximum temperatures of only 2 to 5 degrees. Slight to moderate breezes from the southeast, cool on the northern shores. “
Tuesday is expected to be wet and windy, with long periods of rain.
Some rains will turn stormy with hail, while the national forecaster warns that snow could still fall in parts.
