The warning will go into effect at 6 a.m. Sunday and will last until 6 pm. M. From that night.

It will be cold and windy this afternoon with outbreaks of rain, possibly turning wintry on higher ground in the east of the country.

It would be wise to have hot water bottles ready for tonight, as Met Éireann has predicted that temperatures will drop to -1 ° C tonight.

Drivers should be very careful as some frost and ice will settle in more sheltered areas tonight.

The rain will move west and southwest later in the evening and could be followed by sleet and snow falls, particularly over Connacht. The lowest temperatures are established between -1 ° C and 3 ° C.
