Dublin has been added to the list of counties under weather warning this morning with heavy rain and high winds.
The three Met Eireann weather advisories go into effect at different times today.
The national forecaster expects a rainy and windy day across Ireland, but 15 counties will have it slightly worse.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Today will be wet and windy. Rains in the southwest at first. Persistent rain in Ulster and Leinster will spread southwest to most areas in the early afternoon and continue for the rest. of the day, sometimes with occasional floods in some places.
“Later there will be some drier intervals in the northeast. Higher temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with cool to strong northwest winds, gusty and gale force on some coasts.”
The first of the weather alerts has already started with three yellow alerts in total.

Yellow Status – Wind Warning for Donegal, Mayo and Sligo
From 6am to 9pm on Sundays.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Northwest winds strengthened on Sunday with average wind speeds of 50 to 65 km / h and gusts of 90 to 100 km / h.”
Yellow status: rain warning for Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo
From 6 to. M. A 6 a. M. Monday.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Heavy and persistent rain on Sunday with totals of 25 to 40 mm expected, totals higher in mountainous areas. This may result in flooding of some rivers as well as surface flooding.”
Yellow Status – Wind Warning for Galway, Clare and Kerry
From 12 noon to 10 at night on Sunday.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Northwest winds strengthened on Sunday with average wind speeds of 50 to 65 km / h and gusts of 90 to 100 km / h.”
