Sources say the streaming platform with 120 million annual subscribers worldwide is reportedly close to making the royal couple a seven-figure offering.
A source told the Mirror: “Of course, money is not a problem. Meghan Markle will be more or less able to name her price for working exclusively with them on a series of podcasts.
“The Duke and Duchess have been on your target list for a while and a detailed proposal will be submitted to Meghan’s American agent in a matter of weeks.”
In addition to a deal with Michelle Obama, Spotify recently signed reality star Kim Kardashian in June.
The app is worth around £ 22bn and since closing has gained 2.5 million listeners in the UK alone, a native of Harry.
It was recently revealed that Prince Harry was ‘desperate’ to meet the Queen before he and Meghan left the UK, according to Royal experts.
The young royal allegedly wanted to speak to his grandmother before the couple left the royal family; however, the meeting never came.
According to ABC, Harry wanted to chat with Queen Elizabeth II to map out his and Meghan’s decision to step down from her royal position.
Omid Scobie, the co-author of a royal book based on Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex felt that royal staff made an effort to prevent the conversation from happening.
He said: “The Queen knew the couple wanted to get away somehow and had already been informed by Harry via email in late 2019.”
