The two giants of Gaelic football match their horns again as the mighty Mayo meets the unstoppable force of Dublin this weekend.
Dublin appears to be slipping effortlessly into their sixth straight Sam Maguire, but they run into old foes on their way through six.
Barron Mayo hopes to end a 69-year drought, competing in his eleventh final (replays included) since 1989.
And of them, they have faced the Dubs four times in the final: 2013, 2016 x2 and 2017.
The two sides have also had tremendous battles outside of the big day in the semi-final matchups in ’12, ’15 and ’19.
The latter looked like it might have been May’s chance to finally topple the blue sea before the Dubs bombarded the western side with an impressive 12 points in 12 minutes, destroying Sam’s dreams of Connacht’s side.
Both teams are entering the game strongly after convincing Cavan and Tipperary respectively, but what are the odds of an unlikely May win? Or are the bookmakers convinced that it will be a blue Christmas?
Here you will find everything you need to know before the most talked about day of the year.
