Neighbors of United States President Donald Trump’s infamous Mar-a-Lago Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, are warning the president that he cannot live at the club after he leaves the White House following a deal he made with the city in 1993.
In a letter to the people of Palm Beach and the United States Secret Service sent this week, an attorney representing a family that lives next to Mar-a-Lago reiterated that “Mar-a-Lago is a social club, and nobody may reside in the property. “
“To avoid embarrassing everyone and give the president time to make other living arrangements in the area, we trust that he will work with his team to remind them of the parameters of the use agreement,” wrote Reginald Stambaugh, the attorney.
