Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is waiting for an offer from Barcelona rather than a move from the Premier League, according to sources.
The Dutchman has been linked to Barcelona, Man Utd, Spurs and Real Madrid in recent months.
He has emerged as one of the most valuable players in the Netherlands and is the latest star to arrive at the famous Ajax academy.

According to Sport (via Daily Mail), the player is prioritizing a transfer to the Camp Nou before a transfer to England.
He reportedly asked his agent to postpone transfer talks and wait for an offer from Barça.
Ajax has set its asking price at around £ 50 million, as van de Beek is one of its most prized assets.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Barcelona does not want to pay £ 50 million for the player now as they need to sell players first.
Therefore, a possible transfer will depend on the ability of the Spanish club to sell to players such as Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele.
The club is currently in the process of cleaning up his squad after a season without trophies.
Lionel Messi could also be on the verge of a shock move towards Manchester City after delivering a transfer request.
Messi’s departure is believed to be currently the main topic of conversation among Barça officials, meaning they are not actively looking to sign any players.
If they don’t comply with Ajax’s demands, then either Man Utd or Spurs could jump in to sign the 23-year-old.
Van de Beek could add more creativity to any club’s midfield. It also comes from a proven pedigree of players from the Ajax academy.
Christian Eriksen, Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt have graduated from the academy and have gone on to sign for the elite clubs of Europe.
Van de Beek could become United’s first major signing in this transfer window. If he signed for the Spurs, it would become his fourth summer signing.
José Mourinho has already brought Giovani Lo Celso, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart so far.
