Gardai has asked for witnesses after a man was killed in a fatal shooting in North Dublin.
The horrific incident occurred in Belclare Terrace, Ballymun, Dublin tonight at 9pm.
A man, in his 40s, received multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai has requested that camera footage of the incident (including dash cam and mobile phone footage) be made available to investigating officers.
A Garda spokeswoman said: “The scene is currently preserved and the Garda Technical Office will conduct a technical examination.
“An incident room has been established at Ballymun Garda Station. The Gardaí is asking for anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward. The Gardaí is particularly attractive to anyone who was in the Belclare Terrace and Belclare Park areas night between 8:00 pm and 9:15 pm to go to the front.
“Anyone with camera footage of the incident (including dash cam and mobile phone footage) is asked to make them available to investigate Gardaí.
