A man was rushed to hospital after a brutal stabbing in the city of Dublin this afternoon.
The shocking incident occurred in Seville Place, near Talbot Street, around 4.30 p.m.
The victim, in his 30s, was taken to Mater Hospital for treatment after the horrific attack.
Fortunately, his injuries are described as non-fatal.
A garda spokeswoman said: “Gardaí on Store Street witnessed a stabbing incident in Seville Place, Dublin 1 tonight at approximately 4.30 pm on Thursday 28 January 2021.
“A man (30 years old) received stab wounds and was taken to Mater Hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as non-fatal.
“Investigations in progress”.
