A man died in a house fire in Co Tipperary in the early hours of this morning.
The tragic incident occurred at a house in Pintown, Clonracken in Roscrea.
At approximately 4 a.m. this morning, Gardaí and the fire services were called to the fire.
The fire was controlled and a body was discovered inside the house.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene early this morning.
Gardai says they are investigating “all the circumstances” surrounding the tragic death.
A spokesperson said: “Gardaí investigators have preserved the scene while working to establish the cause of the fire.
“The body was taken to Limerick University Hospital, where the state pathologist will conduct a post-mortem examination in due course.
