Man charged after gardai seized € 269,000 worth of drugs and € 16,400 in cash in North Dublin

A man has been charged after Gardai seized a large quantity of crack and pills in North Dublin.

The defendant, in his 30s, was arrested following a search at a home in Santry Cross, Ballymun on Friday.

The agents found around 255,000 euros in diazepam tablets and 14,000 euros in crack.

They also seized € 16,400 in cash, three mobile phones and drug-making equipment.

A Garda spokesman said: “The man arrested in connection with the seizure of € 269,000 in drugs and € 16,400 in cash in the Santry Cross area of ​​Ballymun, Dublin 11 on Friday has been charged.

“He is scheduled to appear before the Criminal Justice Courts on Monday, November 2.”
