A man has been arrested after Gardai seized € 70,000 worth of cannabis and € 10,000 worth of cocaine.
An intelligence-led operation targeting drug trafficking in Cork City led to the arrest on Saturday.
During the investigation, approximately € 22,000 in cash was also seized.
Gardaí with the Mallow and Mayfield Drug Units seized more than € 80,000 in illegal drugs and € 22,000 in cash as part of a joint operation aimed at the sale and supply of drugs in Cork City.

At around 3 p.m. Saturday, Gardaí conducted a series of searches at separate locations run by the Mallow District Drug Unit and the Mayfield District Drug Unit.
A man, 40, was arrested during the course of the operation.
They took him to Mallow Garda Station, where he is currently detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
