A bettor from Cork is waking up almost € 11 million richer after winning Wednesday’s lottery jackpot.
The lucky rebel took home the 20th biggest prize in history after winning numbers 09, 12, 22, 28, 35, 47 and bonus 37.
Lottery bosses confirmed that the Golden Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Sunday, December 29.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said that they are still waiting for the lucky ticket holder to communicate and that they hope to reveal the name and location of the winning store in the coming days.
