Here’s the exact area where Gardai shot a bully with a knife after attacking officers with a gun in northwest Dublin today.
The incident in Clonee occurred just after lunchtime with Manorfield still closed by Gardai while they launched an investigation.
Garda Armed Support United was called to the scene in a confrontation that lasted several hours.
It is understood that Gardai shot the man multiple times after arriving at ASU with a knife.
After this altercation, he was rushed to St. James Hospital, where he is said to have been seriously injured.

The Garda Ombudsman has been alerted and is also investigating the incident.
A Garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: “Gardaí is currently at the scene of an incident that occurred this afternoon on Wednesday 30 December at approximately 1pm in the Manorfield, Clonee area.
“A Garda firearm was fired during the course of the incident.”
She continued: “A man, details currently unknown, is being treated by paramedics.
“No further information is available at this time. Updates to follow.”
