DART services have been suspended between Dun Laoghaire and Lansdowne Road after a body was discovered this morning in South Dublin.
Gardai and several units from the Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the site of the sinister discovery in Blackrock Park, Booterstown, shortly after 7 a.m.
A Garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live that the results of an autopsy would determine the course of her investigation.
She said: “Gardai is currently on the scene following the discovery of a body in Blackrock Park, Dublin, this morning, September 17, 2020.
“The body remains at the scene and will be transferred for a post-mortem examination at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation. No further information is available at this time. “
