Laura Whitmore and her husband Iain Stirling welcomed a baby girl together.

The couple, who got married in a private ceremony last year, have become parents for the first time.

While the couple have not yet officially announced the arrival of their little one, the Mail Online today published photos of the couple carrying their newborn in a car seat.

In the snapshots, both Laura, 35, and Iain, 33, can be seen laden with bags and coffees to go as they embark on a new parenthood. It is not known exactly when Laura gave birth, however Stacey Dooley stepped in to host her BBC radio show on Sunday.

Laura announced that she, Iain, was expecting a baby together in an emotional post in December.

Announcing the news on Instagram with a cute Guns N ‘Roses baby, Laura wrote: “So I’ve always tried to protect the personal side of my life. Many things are only for me and my loved ones and we have chosen not to share them publicly.

“I want to share some good news now though, as this is our news to share, and I’ll be honest, it’s starting to look like my closed beer belly is out of control.

“Iain and I are expecting a baby in early 2021. It has been difficult to keep such happy news a secret. Especially the times when I had to run out of live radio to get sick in a trash can or my fondness for a plate of mashed potatoes in the morning.

“I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact, he was completely sober filming the entire Celeb Juice series, which is quite a compliment!

“We would appreciate our privacy being respected, but we just wanted to spread a little love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”

Laura and Iain were married in a secret ceremony, shortly before announcing that they are expecting their first children.

The couple got married on a top-secret affair in Dublin during the confinement.

The Love Island host and the show’s voiceover tied the knot in a small humanistic ceremony alongside close friends and family at Dublin City Hall.

After her big day, Laura said: “A year ago Iain asked me to marry him and we had the most magical and perfect ceremony.

“We loved having it for ourselves. We had been planning the perfect celebration and I will always be so thankful that that is what we got.

“We have never spoken publicly about our engagement or wedding. At that point we never felt the need to say anything, as it is such a personal experience. We were too busy enjoying it too!”
