The two Lady Gaga French bulldogs that were robbed at gunpoint in Hollywood have been returned safely, Los Angeles police said.
Koji and Gustav’s safe return came hours after the singer, who was shooting a movie in Rome when her pets were taken away on Wednesday night, asked on social media for “an act of kindness” to bring them to home.
LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez said a woman, who authorities have not publicly identified, took the dogs to a police station where they were later turned over to the musician’s representatives.
“The identity of the woman and the location where the dogs were found will remain confidential due to the active criminal investigation and for her safety,” LAPD said.
It said two men suspected of stealing the pets at gunpoint from dog walker Ryan Fischer were still at large.
In a message posted hours earlier on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, Lady Gaga said her “heart is sick” from the violent theft and promised to pay $ 500,000 for the safe return of the dogs, including anyone who bought or found them. .
“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were captured in Hollywood two nights ago,” he wrote in the post, along with photos of the dogs.
“I pray that my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.”

It was not immediately clear whether the woman who took the dogs to police yesterday will collect the reward.
Police said in a statement that Fischer, 30, was walking three of Lady Gaga’s bulldogs in a residential area of Hollywood Wednesday night when a car pulled up next to them and two men demanded that he hand over to the animals.
“I still love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You will always be a hero,” Lady Gaga said.
Two suspects got out of a vehicle and demanded that Mr. Fischer hand over the pets to them at gunpoint. He was shot once in a fight with the two men who fled with two of the dogs, police said.
A third dog, Miss Asia, escaped during the incident before returning with the injured Mr. Fischer, and was later recovered by police at the scene.
