Kildare suspected of being completed with bar taps, pool table and log fire discovered in NYE

GARDAÍ SAYS 15 people were socializing at a suspected shebeen near Kildare Town last night on New Years Eve.

A search warrant was executed on the premises around 8:30 p.m. yesterday and the Gardaí discovered the suspect Shebeen in a shed at the rear of the house.

Gardaí says the place had “all the trimmings of a traditional pub,” including a pool table, beer taps, a log fire, tables and refrigeration equipment.

Gardaí took details of all the people present inside the shed and confiscated alcohol, beverage opticians and alcohol dispensers.

Investigations into the incident are underway and a file is being sent to the Director of the Public Ministry.
