Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot is not happy with Manchester United and wants to leave the club, according to a journalist.
The defender is apparently frustrated by his lack of playing time and wants to leave the club, says Duncan Castles.
Dalot arrived from Porto for £ 19m in 2018 but has struggled to get into United’s first team setup. He made just 11 appearances with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season and was plagued with hip and groin injuries.

“They have to get the players out and it’s interesting to see what is happening with two guys who have fallen far below the pecking order in that highly staffed Manchester United defensive section,” Castles said at the Transfer Window Podcast.
“One of them, Diogo Dalot, the young Portuguese under-21 international, who has essentially been relegated to third-choice right-back in the planning Solskjaer is doing for next season.
“Obviously, Wan-Bissaka has that defined position.
“I can tell you that Dalot is unhappy with his situation at United and really wants to leave, however he does not have permission from the club to leave.
“You would think that a loan agreement would be a viable solution here, a loan with a purchase option within a year, allowing a player who had an extremely high rating when he arrived at the club, to be chosen from Porto with a limited amount of experience for the quality of their performances in Porto, [to leave]. “
Dalot is under contract until 2023, but like many of the other team members, the club is likely to have an additional 12-month option on his contract.
