Joe Biden and Donald Trump cross key states in the final hours of the campaign

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP faced a strong wind as he began a hectic last 48 hours of the campaign, with the first of 10 demonstrations in two days.

The president downplayed the inclement weather when he gathered thousands of supporters in Michigan.

Trump took the stage today in Washington Township and told the crowd, “It’s very cold in here.”

The president aims to gain support in the whitest and most rural areas of Michigan, as Democrat Joe Biden was in the state yesterday with former President Barack Obama in an attempt to increase turnout among black voters.

Trump expressed his confidence, saying of Biden: “I don’t think he knows he’s losing.”

It’s the first stop of Trump’s latest 10-rally bombing in the last 48 hours of the campaign.

On Sunday he will also visit Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Biden will spend the last Sunday before Election Day rallying voters in the all-important state of Pennsylvania.

Biden was making two stops in Philadelphia today, an appearance at a Baptist church for a Souls To The Polls event and a rally at Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in downtown.

Biden’s return to Philadelphia underscores the importance of Pennsylvania, the Rust Belt state that helped get Trump into the White House four years ago.

Biden has visited Pennsylvania more times than any other battlefield state this cycle, and Philadelphia remains a key base of Democratic support in the state.

Biden and the rest of his top substitutes, his wife Jill, Sen. Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, will also be deployed across the state on Monday.

While Biden’s campaign argues that the Democrat can still win without Pennsylvania, Trump’s path to victory would be shortened considerably without the state’s 20 electoral votes.

The president has also made Pennsylvania a priority, holding four rallies across the state on Saturday and will return Monday for a campaign event in Scranton, Biden’s hometown.
