Jennifer Arcuri reportedly admitted to having an affair with Boris Johnson after accusations that he used his position as mayor of London to obtain favorable treatment for the businesswoman.
The British Prime Minister avoided a criminal investigation after the UK police watchdog found no evidence that he influenced the payment of thousands of pounds of public money to her, or secured her participation in trade trips exterior he directed.
Arcuri admitted to having an affair with Johnson while he was with his then-wife Marina Wheeler, according to the Daily Mail.

In the interview, she also spoke of being bombarded by her “avalanches of passion.”
London City Council resumed an investigation into Johnson’s conduct following the closure of the UK’s Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in May.
The IOPC said it “would have been prudent” to declare its association with Ms Arucri and found evidence that they may have had an “intimate relationship”.
Johnson, who was mayor of the British capital between 2008 and 2016, welcomed the IOPC finding and criticized the “vexatious accusations” against him.
