A source told CNN that Ivanka’s personal assistant tested positive, but the assistant has been teleworking for about two months and has not been around the president’s daughter for a few weeks.

It emerged on Friday that Pence’s press secretary Katie Miller tested positive.

Both Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, Trump’s adviser, tested negative on Friday, CNN reported.

Donald Trump confirmed the news at a press conference on Friday, but did not mention the potential isolation despite the fact that Katie is married to Stephen Miller, one of the president’s closest advisers.

Katie is a key member of the Pence team and as such interacts with most of the people in the west wing.

President Trump said that at a meeting where he and all members of Congress who attended had been evaluated for COVID-19, according to a White House aide.

Speculation about a possible positive test began early Friday morning when pool reporters with Vice President Pence noted that Air Force 2 was being held on the tarmac at Andrews Joint Base for nearly an hour.

He finally took off for Des Moines, Iowa with Vice President Pence, but only after a few staff members disembarked from the plane.

A White House source initially told The Sun that an unspecified staff member linked to someone who boarded the flight tested positive for COVID-19.

Jodi Ernst and Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue were also at the manifesto on Friday.

Later, group reporters revealed that the staff member who tested positive for coronavirus was part of Pence’s team.

Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the news in a briefing on Friday.

The White House later confirmed this in a briefing on Friday, where press secretary Kayleigh McEnany noted that provisions had been put in place to ensure the safety of President Trump and Vice President Pence.

This news comes a day after it was learned that one of Donald Trump’s valet had tested positive for COVID-19.

Following this news, it was announced that the White House would begin conducting rapid tests on staff daily.

Those tests yield results in approximately 15 minutes.

It is unclear whether Vice President Pence had already been evaluated on Friday.

He was seen Thursday delivering PPE to a local nursing home wearing a face mask.

Pence is the head of the Coronavirus Task Force, which means that this individual may have been in meetings with the group.

That could result in Pence, as well as national experts Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx being forced into quarantine.

Other people who had contact with the infected person are now being evaluated.
