Ireland is set to bask in another warm week with 18C highs, but not all is good news.
It will be a glorious holiday Monday with drier, sunnier weather in most areas.
And while it will stay warm on Tuesday, it will get cloudy with more outbreaks of rain, particularly in the south.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “After the morning mist clears, it will be dry today with good periods of sunshine. Higher temperatures will range between 12 or 13 degrees along the east and north coasts at 17 o 18 degrees in the central and western region with light to moderate east breezes that cool this afternoon.
“Tonight will be mainly dry with clear periods. It will become cloudy in the south with rain or drizzle that develops along the southern coasts at night. Lower temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees, colder in the north with moderate to cool easterly breezes.
“Tuesday will be dry in most of Ireland with sunny spells. However, it will be cloudier in Munster and southern Leinster with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the southern coastal counties.
“The highest temperatures from 11 to 14 degrees in southern Munster to 16 to 18 degrees further north with cool breezes from east to southeast.”
And there will be more rain on Wednesday, with a much more shaky outlook for the rest of the week, although it will remain warm.
A forecaster added: “On Wednesday, the rain rain in the south will spread further north, mainly affecting Munster, Connacht and south Leinster, while north Leinster and Ulster remain mainly dry.
“The highest temperature of 14-18 degrees with moderate breezes from east to southeast. On Wednesday night, the rain will spread east and north.
“Thursday will start cloudy east with rain. This will clear east. The afternoon will bring a mix of sunshine and rain to all areas.”
“Higher temperatures of 14-18 degrees with moderate breezes from the south.
“Friday will bring sunshine and rain. Highest temperatures are 14-18 degrees with variable light breezes.
“Current indications are that there will be sunshine and rain next Saturday and Sunday, but that Sunday will become noticeably cooler as moderate winds head north.”
