An Irish EuroMillions player won € 97,604 in the draw the night before, but there was no winner of the € 53.4 million jackpot or € 500,000 EuroMillion Plus prize.
The lucky bettor matched five numbers in the main draw to win the five-figure prize, but was unable to match the lucky stars.
In the main table, the chosen numbers were 3, 10, 17, 33 and 39, and the lucky stars were 1 and 4.
In the Irish Plus draw, where the jackpot was € 500,000, the numbers drawn were 4, 15, 29, 49 and 50.
“There was no EuroMillion jackpot winner,” said a spokesman for the National Lottery. “In total, more than 51,000 players in Ireland won prizes.”
There was also no winner of the € 8.3m Lotto jackpot on Wednesday, although one player won the € 311,000 Match 5 + Bonus prize.
Lottery bosses have now extended the claim period for Lottery winners to collect prizes amid the COVID-19 outbreak, giving bettors an additional three months to collect their winnings in order to urge people to stay at home.
Winners from January 9 through the draws for the week of July 5 can make use of the extensions, while winners of all major scratch games have until August 1 to collect their prizes.
