A further 243 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Ireland, with seven more deaths.

Of the cases reported today;
- 137 are men / 104 are women
- 71% are under 45 years old
- The average age is 32 years.
- 91 in Dublin, 26 in Donegal, 18 in Cork, 16 in Waterford, 15 in Limerick, and the remaining 77 cases are spread across 18 other counties.
As of 2:00 p.m. today, 254 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized, of which 31 are in the ICU.
There have been 20 additional hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
There are now a total of 71,942 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
There have been a total of 2,050 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
Today’s cases, incidence rate of 14 days per 100,000 population and new cases in the last 14 days (at midnight of November 27, 2020) (incidence rate based on 2016 census county population)

Meanwhile, nine more people have died after contracting coronavirus in Northern Ireland, the UK Department of Health said.
An additional 315 cases of the virus have also been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
It brings the number of Covid-19 deaths in Northern Ireland to 983, while the number of cases now totals 51,824.
One of the last nine deaths reported occurred outside of the 24-hour period, according to the Health Department.
There are currently 410 Covid-19 patients hospitalized in Northern Ireland, with 33 in intensive care units. There are currently 16 ICU beds available in the health service.
