Ireland will be blessed with two more beautiful days before the colder air begins to move across the country.
It has been an impressive week throughout Ireland and Met Eireann predicts Friday will be another pleasant one.
Although, Carlow’s weather forecaster Alan O’Reilly has said that cooler air will move from next week.
The weatherman said, “Umm, enjoy the next few days and make the most of the outdoor furniture and maybe have the fireplace cleaned and the oil tank checked too.
“The latest GFS animation here shows the upper air temperatures for the 9 days and you can see the nice warm air escaping next week. Details are subject to change so far, but trends support much more air cold at the end of next week. “
And Met Eireann has also said that they expect conditions to worsen next week, although they are not yet forecasting extremely cold air.
The forecaster said: “It is expected to become somewhat more unstable in the middle of the days next week as the Atlantic regime begins to take hold bringing some rain at times and stormy winds.”
But it’s not all doom and gloom on Friday and Saturday – they are predicted to be lovely days, so be sure to get out there and make the most of them.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “It looks like Friday will be a dry and mostly sunny day, with the first patches of fog cleared during the morning. The highest temperatures in the afternoon will range between 16 and 21 degrees, the coolest in the Eastern shores with moderate northeast breezes.
“Another dry day is expected on Saturday with good sunshine in many areas. It will feel somewhat cooler with highs of 15-19 degrees with moderate to cool breezes from the northeast, cooler along the shores of the Irish Sea. Dry and mostly clear on Saturday night with only a few foci of fog or fog. Low temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in mostly light northeast winds. “
