Paramedics desperately tried to save him, but he tragically died at the scene on Worcester Drive.

Three people, 23 and 25-year-old women along with a 39-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Dod’s grieving sister posted a tribute on social media today, writing: “RIP little brother.

“I know we (didn’t) see eye to eye most of the time, but you’re still my little brother and I love you.

‘I LOVE YOU FOREVER’

“I wish we could make it up. I love you always.”

Another relative said that Dod had been “mending his troubled life.”

The family member told The Sun Online: “He was incredibly passionate about supporting his family and friends.

“He would never let someone go without him.”

Another friend, Crystalann Kelly, 35, added: “I was always happy, you were lucky, and we always laughed and joked.

“He is a great father to his son and I feel sorry for him at this very sad time.”

‘TOO YOUNG TO BE TAKEN’

Dagenham’s mother said that Dod, as all his friends knew him, was well liked.

She said: “If someone needed help, he would be there to help them.

“I will miss him and all his friends and family as well.”

Other friends said that Dod was a “good boy” with another saying: “Sad news that he was too young to be carried.”

A large police presence remains at the scene of the murder this afternoon.

Sniffer dogs have also been seen examining the scene.

Essex police said they had been called shortly before 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Three arrests were made, and the local woman was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

Essex Police said they believe all parties involved knew each other.
