Gardaí investigates Meath’s death without looking for another person or vehicle

The Gardaí is not looking for another person or vehicle in connection with the discovery of a man’s body on the side of a road in Co Meath on Saturday morning.

The remains of a 29-year-old Moldovan man were discovered in “inexplicable circumstances” near an electric scooter in Harmanstown on the N51 Navan to Slane Road at 2.50am on Saturday.

The man who was riding an electric scooter from Slane was treated by ambulance services but was later pronounced dead, according to a Gardaí statement.

An autopsy has been performed on the man, but the results have not been published for “operational reasons.”

Following the autopsy, An Garda Síochána said that they are not looking for any other person or any other vehicle in connection with this incident.
