Gardai has uncovered nearly 100 bicycles suspected of theft worth tens of thousands of euros in west Dublin.

Officers from Clondalkin and Ballyfermot have recovered 95 bikes in the past month believed to have been stolen by owners across Dublin.

If your bike has been lost lately, the news will be a miracle because bikes of all makes and models were discovered.

A Garda spokesperson said: “In recent weeks, Gardaí has located the following pedal cycles at Ballyfermot and Clondalkin.”

“If you believe that one of these bicycles belongs to you, please contact clondalkin Gardaí by email at [email protected] with your name, contact details and reference number (on the bicycle frame) of the bicycle. People should prove your ownership. “

Street Crime Unit officials have said they will strive to identify the legitimate owners of all bicycles.

They added that the bikes that have not met with their owners will be recirculated on social media in the coming weeks.
