Gardaí was called to an open-air rave in the city center south of Dublin on Saturday night, the day after the capital was supposed to be in partial closure.

A video shows about 100 people who attended the event with a DJ and a tent in an all-weather pitch at Oliver Bond’s apartment complex.

The complex is in the city center southwest of Dublin, which has one of the highest Covid-19 infection rates in the country.

Neighbors say they called gardaí from early afternoon, but they only arrived around midnight, and that the party started again an hour after they left.

Residents also had to clean themselves up today, when they found what appeared to be packages of cocaine or heroin.

There also appeared to be a large number of empty nitrous oxide canisters.

In a statement, Gardaí said that the people at the party dispersed when Gardaí arrived.

The statement added that no breaches of the regulations were detected and the agents maintained a presence in the area.

They said there were no complaints about the resumption of the party.

He added: “In support of the Covid-19 public health guidelines and regulations, An Garda Síochána has adopted and will continue to adopt a graduated police response based on its tradition of consent policing. This has seen Gardaí engage, educate, encourage and, as a last resort, enforce. “
