Gardai has published an update on his investigation into the horrific deaths of a young mother and two children in Dublin.
Affira Syed, 11, six-year-old Fazam and her mother Seema Banu Syed were discovered in a home in Llewellyn Court, Ballinteer, South Dublin on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources told Dublin Live that they may have been “dead for several days” before the grim discovery was made.
Neighbors alerted Gardai when the family, who is originally from India, had not been seen recently.
Officers from an Armed Support Unit forcibly entered the house and made the horrible discovery.
Detectives immediately sealed off the house, declared it a crime scene, and began a massive manhunt.
A photo of the suspect, who was known to the dead woman, was distributed to Garda stations, with a warning that the fugitive could be armed and dangerous.
Later, a man showed up at a Garda station accompanied by a lawyer and is helping with consultations.
And gardai confirmed tonight that autopsies are currently underway and will be completed on Friday.
They also repeated calls for the public not to share speculation on social media.
