Kilkenny’s Katie Power, who missed tonight’s final due to injury, says her team is playing fearlessly this year after a run of bad luck in the previous finals in Ireland:
“There is just something this year. We are stronger personally and as a unit. And I think that was proven against Cork. Other years, we went down six points after five minutes and our heads were off. While [against Cork] the girls only started throwing after that. After the game, I was so proud, so happy. “
