There’s some interesting news about Dublin Airport flights this morning as a popular service from the capital is expected to resume soon.
Cornwall Newquay Airport staff have said that the reopening of their airport has been a success.
There has been a high level of demand for its routes with an increase in both the capacity of the aircraft and the frequency of the flights.
And the airport now has its sights set on resuming flights between Newquay and Dublin from October, which will continue to be operated by Aer Lingus.

Pete Downes, Managing Director, Cornwall Newquay Airport said: “We are very pleased to see the number of passengers traveling through Cornwall Newquay Airport start to increase in August as we see more and more customers feel confident about travel by plane with the extensive measures we have to keep them safe.
“The airport has played a key role in bringing tourists to Cornwall from all over the UK, as well as serving Cornish residents wishing to travel outside of Cornwall for holidays or to see family and friends this summer.”
He added: “We expect to see a return of flights between Newquay and Dublin this October, operated by Aer Lingus, and we are still working hard to re-establish the important link to Manchester as soon as possible.”
