More than 100 ravers were discovered by a well-known announcer and farmer in his field Monday as he prepared to take on 30 acres of crop.
Darragh McCullough of Elmgrove Farm said he met more than 100 Brazilians who had traveled from Dublin to have fun on their land.
The television host was trying to carry machinery across Gormanston Beach in Co Meath to soak up 30 acres of spring beans when he ran into the crowd at 8 a.m.
McCullough, who posted a video and images on social media, said: “I know when I literally landed and I have a video there of when I landed on the site, the music was off and the guys were already packing the covers.

“These guys were well prepared, they had bands, they had covers, they had huge amps and speakers.
“This was not a mess and I suppose a part of the crowd had dispersed as well.
“When I got to the gate of the field there were a couple of guys downstairs at the gate having a cigarette or drinking beer or whatever”
McCullough said there is a ruin in “the middle of the field, ideally located for an all-night party” and “overlooking the ocean.”
He added, “When I got there my jaw dropped to the ground because I thought maybe there were four, five, six, seven guys who had a good night.”
“But being greeted by vans, taxis … obviously I didn’t do a people count, but there were at least 100 people there when I arrived.
“It could have gotten ugly, but I was surprised everyone said, ‘Okay, I’m sorry,’ they turned and headed for the door,” he told Today with Claire Byrne on RTE Radio 1.
“The party was in ruins and they weren’t trampling the harvest.
“There was a strange beer cart out there, but to be honest, several of the party goers came prepared with black trash bags and collected all their trash.”
