Update: Stephen has been found, according to family
The family of a missing Dublin man have been concerned about his “misplaced” disappearance.
Finglas’s man, Steo Murphy, disappeared Friday night while walking back to his hotel on Dorset Street from the canal.
Steo, 44, is described as 5 feet 5 inches, slim, and with gray hair.
He was last seen wearing green Diesel sweatpants, a green and orange jacket, and gray Adidas sneakers with blue stripes.
Steo’s sister-in-law Laura Creighton told Dublin Live: “We still have no leads. We are waiting for the garda to get the CCTV footage from the channel.”
His sister, Laura Murphy, asked for information on social media: “Has anyone seen Steo Murphy around here? He has been missing since 8pm on Friday night.
“It’s not like him to do this. He was last seen on the channel my nephew left him. He was walking back to his hotel on Dorset Street.
“We are all concerned that your character will go out of character to do something like this. Please contact any of us if you see it, thank you.”

A Garda spokeswoman said: “Gardaí is seeking the public’s help in tracking down the whereabouts of 43-year-old Stephen Murphy, who disappeared on Friday 16 October 2020. He was last seen in the Cabra area, Dublin 7 at approximately 9:15 pm “. .
“Stephen is described as 5’8” tall, with a slim build, green eyes, and short gray hair. When last seen Friday night, he was wearing green Diesel sweatpants, a green and orange jacket and gray Adidas joggers with blue stripes.
“Stephen is known for frequenting Finglas, Cabra and the Dublin 1 area.
“Anyone with information on Stephen’s whereabouts should contact the Mountjoy Garda station on 01 666 8600, the confidential Garda line at 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
