It means Adam Idah has been called back to the team, having missed Thursday’s penalty shootout loss to Slovakia as close contact with the staff member.

The entire equipment was tested again on Sunday and the results are expected on Monday afternoon.

Idah is one of five players called up by coach Stephen Kenny for Wednesday’s Nations League clash with Finland in Helsinki.

QPR midfielder Ryan Manning has been called up to the senior squad for the first time, along with Derby midfielder Jason Knight, West Brom defender Dara O’Shea and Portsmouth forward Ronan Curtis.

All five players have joined the team in Dublin before traveling to Finland on Tuesday.

Sunday’s draw with Wales leaves Ireland in third place in Group B4, after the Finns beat Bulgaria 2-0 at home at the end of the day.
