Several regions continue to see stubbornly high levels of coronavirus, as five counties again saw a notable increase in cases.
The latest figures were released by the Health Department tonight.
A total of 344 more infections were reported nationwide, while sadly four more people have died.
Dublin once again reported the highest number of new cases with 127, followed by Cork with 46.
Louth also saw a notable increase at 26, as did Donegal at 22 and Limerick at 20.
However, there were some promising signs, as Leitrim reported zero new infections for the second day in a row.
And Galway, one of the largest counties by population, reported fewer than five new cases today.
