Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden have been eliminated from the England team for the trip to Denmark after taking the girls to their hotel room in Iceland, according to reports.
Foden was a starter for the Three Lions, while Greenwood came off the bench in England 1-0 win over Iceland on Saturday – but reports claim the duo have now gotten in trouble for breaking Covid’s security guidelines.
Both were absent from England training on Monday with the Daily mail claiming they have been “EXECUTED from the England team”.
A report in the Icelandic newspaper DV He claims that Foden and Greenwood are in ‘trouble after receiving a visit from two Icelandic girls at their hotel’ and the ‘girls’ show ‘their trip to the hotel via social media Snapchat’.

According to the outlet, a girl allegedly says on her Snapchat: “Informal Sunday with us XXXX. Was I booking a hotel to meet who? With the other responding, “Mason Greenwood, I’m stressed. Very fucking stressed. “
The report adds that “players cannot meet other people” other than their teammates at the hotel and in training sessions.
Speaking to a journalist, one girl stated: “We had no idea about these rules, they never said we couldn’t take pictures. We have sent them and let them know, but they have not opened it. “
She added: “All I can say is that I had been talking to one of them for a few days. I’m not going to say where. “
