Dublin is about to burn as the mercury will jump above 25 ° C tomorrow.

The capital, along with three other counties, is set to burn thanks to a mini heat wave.

However, most of the country will see temperatures of 20 ° C or around that with good periods of sunshine.

The other three counties, including Carlow, Kildare and Laois, are currently projected to be the warmest places in the country, the Irish Mirror reports.

A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Any lingering showers in the east tomorrow morning will soon die out and become sunnier in the afternoon. It will remain more cloudy in parts of the west where more showers will develop.

“Some of these could be heavy and slow moving. Highest temperatures 19-24 degrees, warmer in Leinster, with light or variable south breezes.”

Below is how hot each county is forecast to be on Tuesday and will peak during the middle of the day. (correct as of 7pm Monday on the Met Eireann website)
