It’s a gloomy morning in Dublin, but everything is set to change with temperatures skyrocketing to 25 ° C.
The rain will gradually clear up this morning with Met Eireann saying we can expect a lot of sunny spells with highs between 21-25 ° C.
Tonight it will remain warm, although pockets of fog will form as morning comes.
The Indian summer will continue on Wednesday when it will be mostly dry with good periods of sunshine.
It will be a bit cooler than the last few days, but the forecaster says we can still expect highs of 21 ° C.
The national forecast for the rest of the week is very promising as temperatures continue to break the 20 ° C barrier.
Here’s how things look heading into the weekend according to Met Eireann:
Thursday: It will start out dry with clouds rising for a while, however there will be some periods of sunshine, the best of which will persist along the eastern shores.
Some showers can develop in the afternoon, mainly in Munster and Connacht. The highest temperatures will range between 17 and 21 ° C, the coolest near the coast with variable light breezes or on land.
Friday: Dry in many areas with periods of sun. But showers or longer periods of rain or drizzle will affect the west and northwest.
Highs of 16-21 ° C, cooler in the northwest with light to moderate breezes from north to northeast.
