Dublin Weather: Met Eireann warns of THREE days in a row of freezing temperatures as frigid winter hits

Met Eireann has warned that there will be three consecutive nights of freezing temperatures when a frigid cold snap hits Ireland this week.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night will drop to -2 and -3C with winter weather filling the air in Dublin in the long term forecast.

This morning will be erratic and the rain will clear up leaving temperatures of 12 ° C, but they will get colder as the day progresses.

This largely dry and clear night will be cooler with temperatures of 2-4 ° C with developing frost and some haze and fog.

morning : “The frost, fog and mist will clear until tomorrow morning, leaving a mostly dry day with isolated showers and long periods of sunshine. Friday : “A cold day on Friday with persistent frost and fog in the morning. However, it will remain mostly dry, except for the showers in the northwest, with spells of sunshine during the day. Temperatures generally reach between 3 and 6 degrees in sunlight. East or variable breezes. Continuous cold Friday night with temperatures lower than -3 to +1 degrees. Mostly dry with clear spells, but isolated rains will develop overnight. ”

Saturday : “A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. A cold start to the day will give way to slightly milder conditions from the south with higher temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with a light breeze from the east.”
