It’s time to bundle up as freezing temperatures are forecast to hit Dublin in the coming days.
It will be a very cold week, as the mercury will drop to -2 ° C on Wednesday.
Today will start out cold with “frost in some places and some patches of ice” but will be bright with sunny spells throughout the day.
Temperatures will be 8C or 9C with some isolated showers.
However, it will be very cold tonight as temperatures will drop to 0 ° C with frost and some patches of ice in some areas.

A forecaster from Met Eireann said: “Monday morning will be mostly dry with spells of sunny or bright. Clouds will rise from the west during the day. But it will remain largely dry. Higher temperatures of 10 ° C or 11 ° C C with winds from the south gradually increasing, fresh and gusty. “
