Dublin traffic LIVE: Friday night chaos as more than 200 traffic jams cause major delays

[ad_1]

Bad news for travelers on Friday night, as long delays have been piling up across the capital.

There are currently more than 200 traffic jams recorded with a congestion level of 56% in Dublin.

Long lines have paralyzed traffic as hundreds of motorists return home for the weekend.

The northbound M50 has been reopened again following an incident earlier today at J15 Kilternan.

It is slow going through J9 Red Cow and major southbound delays have been reported since before the M11 joined J5 Bray North on the M11.

There is a long exit queue from Church St to Hart’s Corner on Phibsborough Rd, and inbound traffic is very slow from Church St to North Quays.
