A man in his 50s was killed in a collision on the M1 Dublin this afternoon.
The single-vehicle collision occurred on the north side of the busy highway, with the highway still closed to traffic tonight.
The man was the sole occupant of the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai is now asking that witnesses, or those who may have dash cam footage, reach out.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic collision involving a pickup truck that occurred on the northbound M1 between Junction 3 Swords – Junction 4 Donabate on 09/28/2020 at approximately 12:45 pm.
“A man in his 50s, the driver and sole occupant of the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The road remains closed for a technical examination.
“Gardaí is asking anyone with information, particularly road users who may have dash cam footage, to contact the Swords Garda station at 01 666 4700 or the confidential Garda line at 1800 666 111 “.
