Speaking in Sunday’s game, the former Kerry All-Ireland winner believes a tipping point has been reached for the game that needs to be addressed.
“I think there is a genuine concern and I think we are reaching a really critical point at that juncture,” he said.
“I’m wondering about the strategy. Is there any desire to reconsider funding? Do other counties need more support?

He added that if the issue is not addressed, the GAA could take a hit in terms of interest levels.
“If they continue to win as easy as it seems, they will have 80,000 in an Irish final, but they may not fill Croke Park for other games because they are so far ahead.”
He added that there is a growing consensus that “the Dubs could go ahead and win 10 in a row, we’re getting to that point and I think people are really worried.”
