Dublin Airport has advised Irish traveling home at Christmas to fill out their passenger locator forms when they return to Ireland.
The airport is reminding people of what they have to do to comply with COVID regulations once they arrive in the country.
They posted on Twitter: “To comply with Irish law, all arriving passengers must complete a passenger locator form.
“The form is available online and must be completed prior to entering the state.”
The current advice from the Irish government for traveling to EU system countries is to “exercise a high degree of caution.”
His general advice for any other trip abroad remains to “avoid non-essential travel.”
But today, the family members living abroad have finally received a lifeline from Leo Varadkar.

Speaking on Morning Ireland this morning, the Fine Gael leader said: “If people travel, we appreciate that it is the people’s choice and there may be individual people who have individual family circumstances that force them to travel, we appreciate that.
“It is what we have agreed as a government and it is not as strong as the NPHET council, which is stronger.
“We have agreed as a government that if people travel, we ask them to follow the traffic light rules.”
Mr Varadkar added: “So if you are coming from an amber light area, there are very few of them, make sure you have a test before you travel, a negative test.
“If you are coming from a red area, which is pretty much everywhere right now, outside of Ireland and Iceland, we are telling people if you come, restrict your movements for the first five days until you get a test that is negative. day five “.
