A yellow snow and ice weather advisory has been issued for Dublin and will last 12 hours.
As Met Eireann warns that a very cold and wet Sunday awaits us, they have issued the warning as temperatures will drop to 2 ° C.
The weather warning will be in place for 12 hours on Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
He says there will be “winter falls” with “some possible stacks.”
The warning will also be in effect for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath and Meath.
Tomorrow’s forecast for Sunday warns: “A very cold and humid day tomorrow with rain and falls of sleet and snow as well. Sleet and snow mainly on high ground. Higher temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees in easterly winds from moderate to cool and gusty.
“Rain and sleet will continue for much of the night, but will become more erratic with the development of drier conditions in some places. Lower temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees in general, but around 6 or 7 degrees in the Southwest. East winds will ease overnight. “
