Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from the PlayStation Store following the release of the long-awaited title amid complaints of bugs and glitches.

Sony Corp announced the move on Friday and is offering full refunds for those who purchased the CD Projekt Red game.

A statement posted on the PlayStation website read: “SIE [Sony Interactive Entertainment] strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, which is why we will begin offering a full refund for all players who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store.

“SIE will also remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store until further notice.

“Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund.

“Please note that the completion of the refund may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.”

Shares of Polish publisher CD Projekt Red have fallen 30% since the game’s launch on December 10.

The turbulent launch came after fans endured months of delays until the dystopian title was released.

The publisher has promised to correct the errors with updates.

Cyberpunk 2077 was a hugely successful title for Microsoft’s new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
It is still available in the Microsoft store, as well as for PC gamers.
